Geographical location of the MT/LV (medium voltage/low voltage) transformer substations in the distribution network, with information on installed power and usage percentage.
Fields that make up the dataset:
- Installation Code: Unique identifier of the distribution substation.
- Installed Power [kVA]: Represents the total power installed at the substation. If there are multiple transformers, it refers to the sum of the power of all of them.
- Usage Level [%]: Indicates how much of the installed power was used in the last 12 months, in 19% intervals. For example, if a substation has 100 kVA of installed power and its usage level is "20%-39%", it means the maximum power used was between 20 kVA and 39 kVA during that period.
- Construction Type: Indicates the construction type of the substation, whether overhead, underground, etc.
- Contracted Power [kVA]: Sum of the power contracted by customers with an active contract connected to the substation.
- Number of Customers: Number of customers with an active contract connected to the substation.
- Generation Power [kW]: Sum of the installed power of the production units connected to the substation.
- Number of Producing Customers: Number of customers with an active contract and with production unit(s) connected to the substation.
- Histogram: Hours of Usage of the Installed Power at the substation, over the last 12 months, in 10% intervals. It starts at the interval [≤ -110%] and ends at [≥110%].
For example, if the histogram is "(0.0;0.0;0.0;0.0;0.0;0.0;0.0;0.0;0.0;0.0;0.0;22.25;450.75;773.25;2239.75;2352.75;1678.75;682.75;347.5;167.75;37.5;3.75;0.0;0.0)" it means that:
For 22.25 hours, the substation's usage level was in the interval [-10%; 0%[;
For 450.75 hours, the substation's usage level was in the interval [0%; 10%[.
- Geographic Coordinates: The exact location of the substation on the map, latitude and longitude in WGS84 format.
1. The information made available by E-REDES constitutes an approximation of the values related to the power of the network assets that are installed and their respective usage percentage, as extracted from the systems, with reference to the moment the information is collected. For reasons of security, protection, or lack of data, some of the transformer substations do not have information available regarding their usage level.
2. Given that the connection points, the electricity distribution network, and the consumption and production values themselves are naturally highly dynamic, it should be noted that the information provided may be subject to subsequent changes and updates, and any omissions and/or occasional location inaccuracies that the information may contain are also reserved.
3. The information made available by E-REDES consists only of an approximation regarding the available capacity of the networks at any given moment, and therefore does not constitute a contractual proposal, nor does it exempt consultation with E-REDES for the purpose of formulating the usual network connection requests (PLR).
4. E-REDES states that the information made available does not commit it to connection at any specific point or asset of the network, nor even to a specific solution within the scope of any PLR requests that may be submitted, and E-REDES reserves the right to assess, on a case-by-case basis, in light of the respective requests, the most appropriate technical solution, in accordance with the principles to which it is legally bound.

E-REDES is not liable to third parties, namely partners, service providers, contractors, users, and customers, for damages that may arise, directly or indirectly, from the use of this Information, particularly when carrying out interventions, calculations, and/or estimates, without confirming the accuracy and up-to-dateness of the data.
